2022 International Chem-E Car Competition

The University of Patras - Chem-E-Car Team named Lamborgenius took third place in the 2022 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual Student Conference Chem-E-Car Competition in Phoenix (Arizona – USA), competing against 37 universities worldwide.

The target of the competition was to develop a shoebox-sized car powered by a chemical reaction that would travel a given distance and stop accurately by a chemical reaction. Our chem-e car, named Oscar, stopped just 36 centimeters from the target distance. The difference from the first place (University of Toledo) was only 6 cm.
